How do I book a Party?

Step 1

Choose Your Party

Decide how many children you're inviting (minimum 10), then choose your party package and preferred date.

Step 2

Complete Your Booking

Select your party time, confirm your guest numbers, add any extras, then proceed to checkout. We recommend ticking "Email me with news and offers" so you receive important booking notifications.

Step 3

Secure Your Party

Pay the 50% party deposit at checkout. (Grazing Boards and selected add-ons are payable in full.) Check your confirmation email carefully and take note of all important deadlines.

Then create your online account using the same email address so you can view your Order Summary and send waivers to your guests.

Step 4

Before the Big Day

If you have any dietary requirements or special requests, simply email us ahead of time.

Multiple Age Groups, Multiple Rooms

Children at the party will receive age appropriate wristbands in order to access different aged attractions within the centre.

Children will be able to play together, in certain areas of the centre, dependant on their ages.

It is important to make sure that your initial party booking has accommodated for the number of guests you are inviting to the party. Our party packages are priced for the first 10 guests, however, for additional costs, party rooms can fit up to 14 or 16 guests (depending on the centre).

We cannot guarantee the ability to add extra guests after you have made your initial booking.
Our party bookings sell out weeks in advance and we may not be able to provide an adjoining room or space for additional guests.

If you have more than 14 or 16 guests, you will need to purchase two party packages to secure two rooms. A total of 28 to 32 guests can be invited for two party rooms.

Day of Party

Launch

Arrive & Check In

Arrive 30 minutes before your party to set up your base. We recommend inviting your crew to arrive 15 minutes early for check-in, and ensuring all waivers are completed online before arrival for the fastest check-in experience.

Mission

Play & Celebrate

Once everyone has checked in, Ground Control will escort your crew to your private party room. Your Party Host will welcome everyone, deliver the mission briefing, issue wristbands and socks, then guide your crew through every play zone for an out-of-this-world adventure.

Return to Base

Food, Cake & Farewell

After play, your Party Host will return everyone to the party room to refuel with food and drinks, followed by cake time. Once the celebration is complete, it's time to head home—thank you for choosing Area 51, and we hope your crew had an unforgettable party!

After Booking

After you have made your initial booking online, there are still some things that you will need to take care of.

Organise your birthday cake. We do not supply cakes. We will have space in the fridge or freezer.
Organise your party favours. These can be handed out at the end of your party session to ensure none of the contents end up on the play equipment.
Send out invitations and ensure your RSVP date is set for no later than 10 days before your party.
Please be advised that purchased add-ons are non-refundable or changeable.
Create an online account (if you haven’t done so already) with the email address you used to book. Login and use your account to check your party's Order Summary and send Waiver invites to all your guests.
If you wish to add anything else to your booking after the final invoice is paid, please do so in writing with the exact details. Any add-ons submitted in writing will be invoiced to you.
No add-ons or amendments can be accepted after 5 pm on the Wednesday before your party for weekend bookings and 4 days prior for weekday party bookings
