Planning Your Visit
Are all Area 51 venues the same?
No. Venue size, activities, age limits, tickets and facilities vary by location. Check the information for your selected venue before booking.
Can I walk-in and purchase tickets at the counter?
It is best to book online so you can secure the tickets that you want. You can walk in however we cannot guarantee availability especially during weekends and school holidays.
Can adults enter without paying?
Adults who are observing
do not need to purchase a ticket.
Parents or guardians who wish to join their kids on the equipment need to purchase Supervisor Tickets

Do age, height and weight restrictions apply?
Yes. Restrictions vary by activity and venue. Review the Activities page for your selected location before purchasing tickets.
Do I have to sign a waiver?
Participants must complete a waiver. Please complete it before arrival to help make check-in quicker.
Playing Safely
Can I wear my own grip socks?
No. Area 51 Grip socks are mandatory. If you have previously purchased a pair from Area 51, you can re-use these. You do not need to purchase a new pair every time you visit us.
Can pregnant women supervise their children?
Pregnant women may supervise from designated spectator areas but are not permitted to use Area 51 attractions.
I have a cast, can I play?
We do not allow children/adults on the equipment if they have a cast.
Food and Seating
Do you allow outside food and drinks?
For the safety of all our guests, outside food is strictly not allowed, as common allergens can easily transfer to play areas.
Exceptions are made only for personal water bottles, nut-free birthday cakes, and party bags intended for guests to take home.
If there is a dietary or health-related concern, please call or email us ahead of time so we can assist you.
Anyone found bringing in outside food will be kindly asked to pack it away.
Can I bring a cake into the Venue?
Only NUT-FREE cakes are allowed, you may add our cakeage fee of $10 when you purchase your play passes.
Can we bring in water bottles?
Yes. Refillable water bottles are permitted inside Area 51.
Can I reserve a table?
No. Table seating is based on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations are not accepted.
Can I hire out the entire venue?
Yes exclusive hire is available from Monday to Friday.

Accessibility and Support
Is Area 51 wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Area 51 is wheelchair accessible, except Snow World and Snow House.
I'm a companion of a customer with special needs, do i need to purchase a ticket?
If someone has special needs and has a Carer with a Companion Card - the carer has free entry.
Carers accompanying booked and paid visitors receive free entry, provided a valid Companion Card is presented upon arrival.

- Personal water bottles, nut-free birthday cakes, and take-home party bags allowed.
- If you have a dietary or health concern, please contact us ahead of time.
- Guests are responsible for damages caused through misuse.
- Use of a ticket implies acceptance of our Terms & Conditions.
